Terms of service
The agreement between you and Axiom Retail Technologies when you use this website or a saile workspace.
Last updated 4 October 2026. Axiom Retail Technologies, Ireland.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are between Axiom Retail Technologies ("we", "us"), a company registered in Ireland, and the business that opens a saile workspace ("you"). By requesting a trial or signing in to a workspace you agree to them on behalf of that business. saile is sold to businesses, not to consumers.
2. The service
saile is cloud software for retailers: point of sale, stock, orders and delivery, measure and install, accounting, reporting, an AI assistant and the apps listed on this website. We provide it on the plan and add-ons you choose, up to the limits of that plan. We may improve or change features, and we will tell you in advance if a change removes something you rely on.
3. Trials
A trial is free, needs no card, and runs for 14 days unless we agree a longer period with you. During a trial the whole platform is switched on. At the end you choose a plan or the workspace is suspended; data is kept for 30 days after that and then deleted.
4. Fees
Plans are priced per user, per month, in euro, excluding VAT, as shown on the pricing page on the day you subscribe. Add-ons are month to month. We invoice monthly in advance and may change prices with 30 days' notice; a change applies from your next renewal. Fees are not refundable except where these terms say so.
5. Your account and your people
You are responsible for the people you give access to, for keeping PINs and passwords private, and for what is done in your workspace. Tell us at once if you think an account has been misused. You must not use saile to break the law, to store card numbers, or to attack or overload the service.
6. Your data
Everything you put into your workspace stays yours. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy notice, and we will not sell it or use it to train any model. You can export your data at any time from your workspace, and for 30 days after the contract ends.
7. Availability and support
We aim for the service to be available at all times, with planned maintenance announced in advance and outside trading hours where we can. Tills keep selling offline and sync when the connection returns. Support is by email on every plan; priority support is part of Enterprise.
8. Payments and card data
Card payments are taken by your payment provider through terminals that encrypt at the keypad. saile never holds card numbers. Your agreement with the payment provider governs those payments.
9. Our responsibility to you
We will provide the service with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss, and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending the agreement
You can cancel at any time by email; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. We can suspend or end a workspace if fees are unpaid for 30 days after a reminder, or if these terms are seriously broken. On ending, you have 30 days to export your data.
11. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; material changes are notified by email 30 days in advance.
