Privacy notice
What we collect on this website and in the saile product, why, and the rights you have over it.
Last updated 4 October 2026. Axiom Retail Technologies, Ireland.
Who we are
saile is a product of Axiom Retail Technologies ("we", "us"), a company registered in Ireland. We are the controller for personal data collected through this website. For data a merchant puts into their saile workspace (their customers, staff and sales), the merchant is the controller and we process it on their instructions under the terms of service.
What we collect on this website
- Trial and contact requests. Company name, your name, work email, phone (if given), country, number of sites and what you use today. We use it to set up your trial and to contact you about it. Legal basis: steps at your request before entering a contract.
- Sign-in page. The workspace address you type is checked in your browser and then sent to the product. We keep the last five addresses in your browser only, so you can find them again; nothing is sent to us.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records the IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request to keep the site secure and available. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe service.
We do not run advertising or analytics scripts on this website, and we do not sell personal data.
What we collect in the product
When a merchant uses saile, we hold the data they enter: products, stock, customers, orders, staff accounts and sales. Card numbers never enter saile: payment terminals encrypt at the keypad and we hold only a token from the payment provider. Toby, the AI assistant, works only on the merchant's own workspace; conversations are logged for the merchant and are not used to train any model.
Where data is kept
Workspaces run in a European region on Google Cloud, with encryption at rest and managed backups. Each merchant has its own database. Our hosting and email providers act as processors under written terms. Where a provider is outside the European Economic Area, transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Trial requests: 12 months from the last contact, unless a contract follows. Server logs: 30 days. Merchant workspace data: for the life of the contract and 90 days after it ends, after which it is deleted unless the law requires a longer period (for example, tax records).
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your personal data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable form. Write to us at the address below. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission, Ireland (dataprotection.ie). We answer within one month.
Cookies and local storage
This website sets no cookies. It uses your browser's local storage for one convenience: the recent workspace addresses on the sign-in page. You can clear it from your browser at any time.
